Shamal Yagami is one of the main characters of the Magical Girl Lyrcial Nanoha series first introduced in Magical Girl Lyrcial Nanoha and one of the members of the Wolkenritter.

Apperance
Upon being summoned from the Book of Darkness Shamal had the oldest apperance out of the Wolkenritter being that of a 22 year old woman but like the rest she has yet to age a single day and still retains her same apperance at 38.
Personality
Soft-spoken, kind and polite Shamal is considered the "mother" of the Yagami Family having chosen to be a medic over a scientist because of the fear she was be seperated from her family for too long, some even confuse her as as being a "house-wfie" despite not being married.
She however is prone to break down from emotional strain and ideally would rather a quiet life on Earth.
Chronology
Material Unit Attack
During Nanoah's, Fate's and Hayate's fight with the Material Unit Shamal noticed Hayate and Rein missing and sensing the faint clashing of magic realised what was going on, alerting the Yagami and Harlaown Households. upon ariving Shamal went to immediately heal Hayate but was ordered to treat and stablize Trishia no-Mikoto
Shamal formed the team to investergate the TALON located in Hiroshima with Hayate and Rein. upon ariving there Shamal set up a surveillance network of spells to help them locate magical activity discovering something odd about Hirayamahachiman Shrine. the following night
The following day after being chased out by Amara Shamal followed what she though might have been the TALON being moved. before returning to the hotel she was attacked by Kari Saiso and Ayano Kenarashi but after defeating them she was attacked by Midori Shinoto from behind and left with a warning.
Taking the warning as a threat to her family Hayate took the fight to Amara heading to Itsukushima Shrine. while surrounded Amara appeared and pulled the team into her Reality Frame and revealed herself to be Amaterasu no-Mikoto. After the battle and being led to where the TALON was Shamal began to investergate it, while not being able to fully understand it was able to judge how large the area of effect of the TALON was and the possible damage that could occur if the Nodes where not in their set positions.
As of the end of Chapter 8 it belived that Hayate, Rein and Shamal are on their way back from Hiroshima for the planned rendezvous with the other teams.
